Dr Kenny grew up in our church. At the age of 11, he gave his life to Jesus Christ after our Sunday School teacher shared the gospel with him. Since then, Dr Kenny has served in Worship, Youth and Foreign Ministries as well as a cell group leader.
Dr Kenny graduated with a degree in Medicine from the National University of Singapore in 1998 and went on to pursue specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. In 2004, six months shy of his Part 2 MRCOG examination, Dr Kenny obeyed God’s call to resign and go to Bible school. Dr Kenny attended the Biblical Graduate School of Theology (Singapore) where he graduated with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies (magna cum laude) in 2007.
As a bi-vocational pastor, Dr Kenny sees life and ministry as a continuum and integration. Believing that the marketplace is as much a place of ministry as the church is, Dr Kenny fulfils his marketplace calling as the Chief Executive Officer of St Luke’s ElderCare. He also serves as the Board Chairman of the Eagles Mediation and Counselling Centre as well as an adjunct Associate Professor with an academic institution.
Dr Kenny finds great solace and joy in expressing his thoughts and feelings through poems and has published 5 poetry books.
In the meantime, Dr Kenny is also pursuing a PhD in Innovative Urban Leadership from Bakke Graduate University.
