After Rebecca’s A-levels, God prepared her heart to embrace Him as her Lord and Saviour by placing a Christian in her life whose kindness and support made a lasting impact on her. In her early university days, a girl from the Navigators shared the salvation message of Jesus Christ with her. Deeply moved by God’s promise of abundant life in John 10:10 to those who believe in Him, she gave her life to Jesus.
In the marketplace, Rebecca served 10 years as an auditor with Ernst and Young, including two years at its London office. She held various financial management positions in Singapore and overseas companies. She also worked in China, where she was based for six years in Quanzhou, Wuxi, and Guangzhou; as well as in Virginia, USA where she spent four years working for a Singapore MNC subsidiary.
With the skills and experience God has blessed her, Rebecca has been serving as our board member, contributing to the church’s financial and strategic decision-making. With a heart for God’s people, Rebecca also serves as a cell group leader and do follow-up with new believers.
Rebecca enjoys hiking, taking nature walks, travelling, cooking, and making handicrafts.
